The Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) invites applications from suitable, eligible, dynamic and self-motivated candidates for the position of Principal WAPDA Administrative Staff College Islamabad on contract basis in BPS-20. Candidates must be serving or retired Bureaucrat, Academia, or Armed Forces Officer having Master’s degree or above from HEC recognized University. Required experience includes 20 years Administrative experience with at least 3 years experience in a Training or Academic Institute. Maximum age limit is 62 years. This position is on Open Merit quota. The appointment will initially be for a period of 3 years on lumpsum basis with 6 months probation, extendable based on satisfactory performance. For serving employees, last pay drawn alongwith perks and privileges of BPS-20 will be provided. For retired employees, a lumpsum package of Rs. 675,000 per month alongwith WAPDA vehicle will be provided. Required competencies include strategic vision, policy development, leadership, analytical and critical thinking abilities for institutional development, planning and evaluating training programs, providing overall command and direction for training setup, ensuring curriculum alignment with organizational requirements, and managing day to day activities. Educational degrees must be from HEC recognized universities or concerned boards duly verified. Original degrees must be presented at interview. Serving government employees must obtain NOC and will be offered deputation upon selection. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. No TA/DA admissible.
