MEPCO, one of Pakistan’s leading public sector power distribution companies serving 5.6 million consumers across Southern Punjab, is recruiting a Chief Human Resource & Career Planning Officer to lead all HR strategic initiatives at its headquarters in Multan. This senior executive position requires candidates with a minimum of 15 years’ post-qualification experience in human resource management, including at least 5 years at senior management level. The ideal candidate must possess a university degree recognized by HEC and demonstrate expertise in strategic HR planning, organizational development, talent management, succession planning, and change management processes. The successful applicant will report to the CEO and Board of Directors, responsible for analyzing strategic HR requirements, scrutinizing organizational objectives, formulating comprehensive 3-year HR strategies, and implementing structural changes aligned with business growth plans. Candidates must be under 60 years old, possess clean financial and criminal records, and comply with fit and proper criteria under SECP regulations. The contract is for 3 years (extendable once) with market-based salary between Rs. 0.8 to 1 million monthly, negotiable based on qualifications. Government employees need NOC approval.
