The Pakistan WAPDA Foundation (PWF) invites applications for the position of Managing Director in BPS-20 on contract basis. The foundation manages various welfare projects for WAPDA employees under the leadership of the Managing Director and seeks an individual with dynamic personality and capability to run the organization efficiently. Candidates must have MA/M.Sc/MBA or B.Sc Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) from HEC recognized university. Maximum age is 62 years. Eligible candidates include retired WAPDA, DISCOS, or NTDC employees. Required experience is post qualification experience of 3 years as Chief Engineer, Director General, or General Manager in BPS-20 or equivalent post. The appointment will be on contract basis initially for one year, extendable subject to satisfactory performance up to maximum 3 years or up to age of 65 years whichever is earlier. Position is on Open Merit quota. General requirements include awareness about PPRA Rules, result oriented approach, highly organized and motivated personality, excellent analytical, writing, communication and interpersonal skills, and prudent decision making abilities. The Managing Director will be responsible for evolving strategies and plans for business development and enhancing schemes of PWF, managing current business operations and exercising necessary administrative and financial power for implementing decisions of the Board of Directors, developing all policies and procedures for PWF, achieving objectives set by Board of Directors, and creating and overseeing viable business plan that envisages sales and marketing strategy, financial background and projected profit and loss statement.
